Gordon Avenue Library Live Poets Society

Have you heard of the Live Poets Society?

The group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm at Gordon Avenue Library in Charlottesville to share their love of poetry.

Lauded as a mainstay of the Charlottesville poetry scene for more than twenty years, the friendly gathering is a chance to share your own work, the work of poets you admire, or just to listen. These are not critique sessions, just a roundtable format, with people taking turns reading their poems.

The next gathering is Wednesday, July 2 and 7:00pm. The group meets on the downstairs floor of Gordon Avenue Library. You can enter the downstairs floor directly from the parking lot. The meeting room is immediately to the right.
