My arts organization has tickets that we’d like to give away to school groups or other outreach programs. Can PCA help?

PCA’s monthly Arts Reach newsletter lists available or needed arts resources for school groups and direct service organizations. Whether you are a direct service organization in need of arts resources or an arts organization with available resources, email with a description of those resources. Your inclusion in the Arts Reach newsletter will allow other groups to contact you directly if their needs or offers complement yours.

Where can I find out about taking art or music lessons, studio or rehearsal space, art appraisers, framers, etc.?

PCA’s Arts Reach page compiles many such resources into one place so you can easily find anything. If you don’t see what you’re looking for there, ask us directly and we’ll do our best to steer you in the right direction!

Does PCA have information about grants for artists or arts projects?

What is Art Drinks?

Art Drinks is an informal gathering of artists, arts organizations, and arts enthusiasts, hosted by PCA on the second Wednesday of every month from 5:30-7:30pm at a rotating list of local restaurants. Enjoy lively conversation and networking, drink specials, and the chance to win art objects in the raffle! My listing on the PCA Artist Directory is out of date. How do I update it?

In order to update or create a directory profile, you simply need to email with the following information and samples of your work (images or audio/video clips) to accompany your profile:

Name (as you’d like it to appear)
Medium(s)/Discipline(s) in which you work
Mailing address
Phone number
Email address

How can my event be listed on the PCA Arts Calendars?

In order to update or create an event listing on our arts calendars, you should email with the following information:

Event name
Location (including street address and city)
One sentence description of content
Ticket prices
Phone number

Our trusty calendar volunteers will then use this information to update our events calendars and tell the world about the great events you’re hosting! If you’re interested in keeping the local community informed about arts events by becoming a PCA calendar volunteer, please email

Does PCA have internships or job openings?

Any available intern or paid positions at PCA will be posted to our blog and the job board at the CNE.

Does PCA have any volunteer opportunities?

We’re always looking for people who are interested in enriching the Charlottesville arts community! Whether you’re interested in volunteering with one of our youth outreach programs, updating our online calendars from the comfort of your own home, or anything in between, we’ve got plenty for you to do.
