WTJU 91.1FM Rolls Out New Schedule

Your favorite community radio station, WTJU 91.1FM, has made some changes to its programming schedule after careful consideration by its Programming Committee. The official change-over date was on Monday, July 16th (though avid listeners should note that some summer shows will change again when the UVa fall semester begins).

The scheduling changes come after almost a year of planning and WTJU volunteers hope it will result in several outcomes:
* more live music on the air, both in-studio and from area venues.
* consistency to the Monday-Friday afternoon drive time.
* room for a locally-produced public affairs show.

The new schedule is available for download in PDF format here. There, you can also read a Q & A with General Manager Nathan Moore about the changes and what you can expect to hear over the airwaves.

If you have further questions, please email Nathan.Moore@virginia.edu or call WTJU’s main number at (434) 924-0885. For more information about WTJU, including online streaming of shows, playlists, and ways to donate or volunteer, please visit their website.
