Starr Hill Presents and Piedmont Council for the Arts have teamed up to give away a pair of tickets to see Wilco and Lee Ronaldo Band (of Sonic Youth) perform at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion on Thursday, July 19!
To enter, just ‘Like’ the official PCA Facebook Page between noon today and noon on July 17. We’ll pick a winner randomly from the entries shortly afterward. PCA is choosing a winner from new people who ‘Like’ our Facebook page so if you already have ‘Liked’ us (thank you), suggest us to your friends so they can bring you along as their guest!
Wilco has been active as a band for over 15 years. As NPR recently put it: “Listening to Wilco’s latest album — The Whole Love, out September 27 — it’s clear that the group’s members are just a bunch of talented, inspired and entirely genuine music lovers who stay married to few, if any, rules. They both embrace and dismantle the elements of songcraft as an endlessly malleable art form, and do it so gracefully that they’ve made Wilco perhaps America’s best band, even if the results are sometimes mixed.”
