Become an Arts Data Collector for the Arts & Economic Prosperity Study
PCA seeks volunteer data collectors for its participation in Arts & Economic Prosperity IV, a national study by Americans for the Arts. Data Collectors will implement audience-intercept surveys at arts events in Charlottesville and Albemarle throughout 2011. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the largest national study of the economic impact of the arts to date and to help gather important information for our area’s arts-and-culture sector.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout 2011, but early submissions are strongly encouraged.
Volunteers don’t need to commit to the full year of data collection, but a minimum of 2 months of involvement is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Attend training session hosted by PCA
- Sign up to survey audiences / collect surveys at 5 or more area arts events
- Attend 5 or more arts events and collect up to 50 audience intercept surveys at each
- Submit completed surveys to PCA’s office in McGuffey Art Center
