The Orange Plein Air Privy Project

Linda Boudreaux Montgomery’s Virginia Piedmont Privy

Now, here is a truly unique fundraiser benefiting The Arts Center In Orange! The Orange Plein Air Privy Project (O.P.P.) has transformed demolished gym bleachers from Orange County High into creative privy-shaped painted garden sheds. Virginia artists Susan Krieg, Todd Brown and Linda Boudreaux Montgomery were commissioned by the Arts Center to adorn the privys with unique murals and wood burning designs.

The decorated privys will be auctioned off at the edible FOOD FEST in Orange on Saturday, August 11 from 10:00am-4:00pm, with winning bids announced at 4:30pm. Proceeds will go to the Arts Center’s Community Outreach Program and the Boys & Girls Club of Orange.

Admission to edible FOOD FEST is $5. All edible FOOD FEST guests who are interested in bidding on a privy should visit The Arts Center In Orange tent to register for the auction. If you are unable to attend the edible FOOD FEST, but still want to bid, please email theartsorange@aol.com, visit The Arts Center In Orange website or call (540) 672-7311.
