People of Walmart lunchtime talk

The Virginia Foundation for the Humanities presents a lunchtime talk with Lisa Woolfork, an associate professor of English at the University of Virginia, as she examines the popular website People of Walmart through the complex lenses of digital framing, distribution, and contextualization.

Her research addresses the popular website in the larger context of Web 2.0, identity formation, social control, lateral and superior surveillance, and embodiment.
