PCA Celebrates Women in the Arts: Rose Williams

Rose Williams is a published poetry writer and VSA arts Instructor. She has led writing workshops at Post High Special Education Program, AHS Community Based Instructional Program, Jackson Via School, Ivy Creek School, Nursing Homes, Hope Community Center, Charlottesville Parks & Rec Summer Playgrounds, City Therapeutic Summer Camps, Tonsler Rec Center, and many more places. She co chaired the local VSA Arts Committee for over 4 years. Recently Lighthouse Media students filmed a short documentary on her life for the local Sprout Film Festival for 2011. Rose advocated for arts for individuals with disabilities through out Virginia as Ms Wheelchair Virginia in 2008. Rose dedicates her life to serving others and her community.
