PCA Celebrates Women in the Arts: Maggie Stultz

Maggie Stultz, Artist & Potter
Whimsical and functional are the best ways to describe Maggie’s work.
She studied art education at Oklahoma State University. Originally drawn to working at the potter’s wheel, she now expresses her love of color and drawing and painting by using slabs of clay as her canvas, shaping them into unusual and functional pieces in daily life and making whimsical designs of the things she loves. She loves food and paints lots of fruits and veggies – as well as flowers and animals, getting much inspiration from nature.
Maggie shows her work at fairs and at the Charlottesville City Market on many Saturdays.
