Leslie Channel, Arts & Community Organizer
Leslie returned to Charlottesville last summer, and she has made her mark on this town already. Along with co-founders, Leslie launched a live community storytelling initiative called Secretly Y’all, with the mission to bring people together through the art of storytelling. Secretly Y’all happens monthly at Random Row Books.
In addition to helping Charlottesvillians tell each other great stories, Leslie is an Americorps staff member in the Blue Ridge Commons neighborhood, where she incorporates drum lessons and theater outings into her work with young people. PCA is proud to have Leslie at the helm of our arts audience development strategies starting this spring.
