PCA Annual Meeting & Report

Less than a month after the PCA Presents: Women in the Arts party, PCA proved once again that community arts involvement can overcome anything… even repeated storms and power losses! Despite the disastrous weather in Charlottesville, PCA’s Annual Meeting – held yesterday evening at McGuffey Art Center – was a great success.

While presenting the Annual Report, Executive Director Maggie Guggenheimer recapped the exciting events and projects that PCA has been involved in over the last year, such as the Creative Conversation Series, the StoryLine Project, and Art Drinks! She also spoke of upcoming outreach initiatives, like the growth of PCA’s Arts Access Project and presentation of even more workshops and seminars for the community.

The Annual Meeting also provided members with a chance to show their appreciation to outgoing Board President, Margo Smith, while welcoming the new President, George A. Beller.
