A signed artist on ESC Records in Europe and in Japan on the P-Vine label, Laurence has recorded with Grammy winners Paquito D’Rivera and Peter Erskine, who both appear as guests on his critically acclaimed debut album “Surrounded.”
When not on tour, Laurence divides his time between New York City and Charlottesville, Virginia, where he was recently featured on NBC as “Charlottesville’s Piano Man.” He continues to balance an international career with local, intimate performances at venues such as The Paramount, Siips Wine Bar and The Mudhouse, to name a few.
Among many other bands and projects, Bobby Read has been a member of Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers since 1993. He has performed many concert tours as well as having played on Hornsby’s last 5 studio CDs. His numerous live recordings with the world famous singer-songwriter include the ‘Here Come The Noisemakers’ Cd, the “Intersections” boxed set, the “3 Nights on the Town” DVD, as well as the prodigious amount of concert recordings available online.
