Last chance to sign up for "The Art of Etching"
Local artist Russell Richards is hosting a class, The Art of Etching, beginning today [June 24] and continuing for eight weeks. The class will be held every Thursday from 6-7:30pm in Studio 26 at the McGuffey Art Center. No printmaking experience necessary.
Students will create an edition of black and white etchings under the guidance of an expert printmaker. Richards will also be available for studio hours, plus will demonstrate his four-color process and other intaglio techniques.
