As outgoing Communications Manager Nikki Melton prepares for a move to Richmond to pursue graduate study in Creative Writing, PCA welcomes new Communications Manager Sarah Lawson.
Sarah studied film and media at the University of Virginia before co-founding The Bridge Film Series in 2006. She then moved to New York to do design work in a publishing house and was selected to be a resident documentary film curator at UnionDocs in Brooklyn. After a couple years in the city, she succumbed to the temptation to return to Charlottesville and hasn’t looked back. Presently, she’s also working as the Film Series Director at The Bridge, a radio host on WTJU, and the director of the CommonPlace Arts storefront art initiative.
