Meet Idil, PCA's Summer Intern
Hi, I’m Idil Tumer, the Summer Intern at Piedmont Council of the Arts. I have been interning at PCA for almost two months, and it has been a great experience.
I am majoring in Economics, and I have always been interested in the non-profit world. Throughout my summer internship, I have learned a lot about the non-profit arts industry and have had the exciting opportunity to relate it to economics by working on a project that is about the economic impact of the arts in our community.
I have been examining national and local studies in preparation for compiling an updated study on the economic impact of the arts in Charlottesville.
