City Council Unanimously Supports Cultural Plan

NBC City Council Funding

Earlier this month, the Charlottesville City Council unanimously agreed to provide $25,000 in funding to PCA over the next two years to help complete the first-ever Charlottesville Area Cultural Plan.

NBC29 News reported on Charlottesville City Council’s decision.

The development of a cultural plan will occur through an active, collaborative process that enables community stakeholders to prioritize and strategically respond to important needs in the area’s cultural sector.

Interim Executive Director Sarah Lawson says, “PCA is proud to have the support of the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation as well as the Charlottesville City Council as we move forward with the collaborative cultural planning process.”
