Listening to timeless music played by a big band is a great way to spend a summer evening. On July 17 starting at 8:00pm, the Charlottesville Municipal Band will perform for its 90th concert season at The Paramount.
The Municipal Band will be performing, “A Night With Richard Rodgers.” Popular Richard Rodger tunes will include: “My Heart Stood Still” from “Connecticut Yankee,” the ever enjoyable “Oklahoma,” “Carousel,” “The Sound of Music,” and many more.
The Charlottesville Municipal Band was founded in 1922 and is kept strong by 90 volunteer musicians. The concert is FREE and open to the public.
