Be Part of Charlottesville’s Flash Mob Dance – It’s FUN and EASY!
- Watch the movements online and learn as much as you like. (They need a LOT of people to just jump in for the last 38 seconds!)
- Share and teach it to friends and kids and as many people as you can
- Come to the rehearsal on Thursday, Jun 10 at the Pavilion (more details on that soon).
- Then come to Fridays After Five on Friday, Jun 11 we’ll dance between bands somewhere between 630 and 7pm.
What A Flash Mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and pointless act for a brief time, then quickly disperse. The Charlottesville Flash Mob will be held at Fridays After Five at the Charlottesville Pavilion, our chosen piece of music will come on and dancers will break into a choreographed piece – starting with just a few movers and building to as many as possible.
Why To celebrate all the dance and music and art that happens in Charlottesville every day!
